The alarm clock in ancient Greece.
Who invented the alarm clock?
The first alarm clock was made in Ancient Greece by Ctesibus.
What did it do?
During these days,time was measured using a water clock. Ctesibus used a system with water and pulleys making the alarm clock sound.
Where was it used?
A classic and long alarm clock has an extra hand or inset dical that is used to specify the time at which the alarm will ring
When was it invented?
It was invented in 1787. It was thought up by Ctesibius, an engineer and inventor.
Why is the alarm clock important?
It is important because on school days I need to wake up from my iPad. And everyone can sleep and wake up.

Lighthouses come in all shapes and sizes. They are usually located on the coast, on islands, or in the middle of busy harbours
When was it invented?
The first known lighthouse was the Pharos of Alexandria,Egypt. Ptolemy ii constructed it 300 and 280B.C

Lighthouse help us because it help keep us safe.

Heron of Alexandria made it.
What did the automatic door do?
Automatic doors help people to open the door. When people have a heavy thing, when doors are automatic, people can go home easily.

Roman, egypt.

Why is the automatic door
important?
Because the automatic doos help people. For example, when I have a heavy thing on my hand, I can't open the doors. When door is not automatic door, I need to put heavy thing and open the door but when door is automatic door, we can go home easily. So I think it is important.
In the morning, when I have my backpack, automatic door open, I can go to school easily.
